Frankfort Library to Host Children’s Author and Storyteller Lindsay Bonilla

The Frankfort Community Public Library will welcome a special guest later this month as it hosts an evening with acclaimed children’s author and storyteller Lindsay Bonilla.

The free, all-ages event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, at 6 p.m. in Room 219 at the library.

Bonilla, a world-renowned storyteller, has performed interactive theater and led workshops across the globe. She is the author of several well-known picture books, including The Storyteller, I Love You with All My Hearts, and Polar Bear Island. Known for blending literature with performance, she brings an engaging and energetic approach to storytelling.

During the program, attendees will have the opportunity to learn the art of storytelling, participate in acting out a story, and explore how performance can influence the writing process. The event is especially geared toward youth interested in creative writing, reading and drama, though participants of all ages are encouraged to attend.

The program will also highlight family storytelling, emphasizing the importance of shared narratives and reading together. Families are invited to attend and take part in the interactive experience.

Light snacks will be served following the event. No registration is required.
