Horseshoe League Returns to Clinton County, New Players Encouraged to Join

The Clinton County Horseshoe Pitchers Association is gearing up for another season of its popular Thursday night summer horseshoe league, with an open invitation for players of all skill levels to participate.

To kick off the season, the association will host an organizational meeting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 25 at the Curt Day Courts. During the meeting, participants will form teams and finalize the league schedule for the summer.

Organizers emphasize that no experience is necessary to join. The league uses a handicap scoring system, allowing beginners and seasoned players to compete on an even playing field.

Community members who are unable to attend the meeting but are interested in playing are encouraged to reach out so they can be included in team planning.
