The Humane Society of Clinton County, Indiana is inviting the community to celebrate Mother’s Day in a meaningful way—by giving the gift of love to a pet in need.
A special adoption event will run from May 9 through May 19, offering reduced adoption fees for both dogs and cats. The event encourages families and individuals to consider welcoming a new companion into their homes while helping animals find permanent, loving environments.
Adoption fees for dogs are set at $200 for those under one year old and $75 for dogs over one year. For cats, fees are $100 for those under one year and $50 for cats over one year.
With a variety of animals available—from energetic puppies to affectionate adult cats—the shelter hopes to match each visitor with the perfect “fuzzy Valentine.” The event highlights the spirit of care and compassion associated with Mother’s Day, encouraging residents to open their hearts and make a difference in an animal’s life.
