FRANKFORT, Ind. — Residents will have an opportunity to clean up their homes and properties during a Free Community Dump Day hosted by Republic Services on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
The event will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 2701 N SR 39, Frankfort, IN 46041. Community members are encouraged to bring unwanted household items and non-hazardous debris for proper disposal while helping keep the Frankfort community clean and safe.
Accepted items include household junk, furniture, and non-hazardous debris. However, hazardous waste, tires, batteries, electronics, and refrigerants will not be accepted.
Event organizers remind residents that this event is open to residents only, and identification will be required upon arrival. All loads must be covered and secured before entering the site, and participants are asked to follow all staff directions for safety and efficiency.
Officials also note that the event may end early if disposal capacity is reached before the scheduled closing time.
Republic Services encourages residents to participate and help make a positive impact in the community.
