Clinton Central Wrestling Camp Set for June 9-11

Clinton Central Jr./Sr. High School will host its annual Wrestling Camp June 9-11, giving young athletes an opportunity to sharpen their skills and learn from some of Indiana’s most accomplished wrestling coaches and competitors.

The camp will run each evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in HS Gym 1 and is open to wrestlers looking to improve technique, conditioning, and mat awareness ahead of the upcoming season. Organizers say the camp is designed to continue the school’s strong wrestling tradition while helping athletes of all experience levels develop their abilities.

Featured guest instructors include Dean Branstetter, an IHSWCA Hall of Fame coach with more than 600 dual meet victories and multiple sectional, regional, and state championships during his coaching career.

Also serving as an instructor is Clinton Central alumnus Jeff Scott, a two-time state qualifier, semi-state champion, regional champion, and winner of 128 career matches.

There is no cost to attend the camp.
