Memorial Day Services Planned Across Carroll County

The Carroll County Veterans Service Office has announced its Memorial Day observance schedule for Monday, May 25, with ceremonies planned throughout Carroll County to honor veterans who gave their lives in service to the United States.

The day-long observance will include memorial services, tributes, and the reading of veterans’ names at cemeteries and memorial sites across the county. Ceremonies will also include a special stop at the Carroll County Veterans Bridge in Pittsburg honoring Marines, Navy, and Merchant Marine veterans.

The annual Memorial Day observance will conclude with an afternoon ceremony at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
