The Indiana Department of Transportation announces nighttime lane closures that will impact I-65 in Boone County in both directions.
Beginning on or after Monday, June 1, INDOT contractors will close both left lanes and shoulders on I-65 from I-865 to U.S. 52 (128-140-mile marker) between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. The purpose of this closure is to install fiber optic cables. Construction is anticipated to last for a few weeks but is weather dependent and subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones.
