The event will be held on Thursday, July 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Frankfort High School Cafeteria. Students are asked to arrive by 8:45 a.m. for check-in.
The orientation is open to all incoming freshmen and students who are new to Frankfort High School. Throughout the morning, participants will be guided by Frankfort High School staff members and student leaders as they become familiar with the campus and learn what to expect during the upcoming school year.
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Learn their way around the Frankfort High School campus.
- Receive their class schedules.
- Find and practice opening their lockers.
- Explore clubs, extracurricular activities, and other opportunities available at the school.
- Meet school administrators, teachers, and student leaders.
- Receive helpful advice and tips from upperclassmen to make the transition to high school smoother.
The Freshman Kick-Off is designed to help new students feel comfortable and confident before the first day of classes while introducing them to the many academic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities available at Frankfort High School.
School officials encourage all incoming freshmen and new students to attend and take advantage of the opportunity to get acquainted with their new school, meet classmates, and start the year prepared for success.
The event welcomes the Frankfort High School Class of 2030 as they begin the next chapter of their educational journey.
