Maddox Thompson was named the recipient of the 2026 Clinton County Fair Supreme Showmanship Award, recognizing his outstanding showmanship skills and dedication throughout this year’s fair.
The Supreme Showmanship Award is one of the fair’s highest honors, celebrating exhibitors who demonstrate exceptional knowledge, confidence, sportsmanship, and the ability to present their animals at the highest level of competition.
Thompson’s achievement reflects the hard work, commitment, and countless hours he has invested in preparing for the Clinton County Fair.
He is the son of James and Amanda Thompson.
The Supreme Showmanship contestants included:
- Brooklynn Morris, Horse, a 10-year 4-H member, daughter of Roman and Molly Ledergerber and Jason Morris.
- Kyndra Brown, Llamas, a 10-year 4-H member, daughter of Amanda Creviston and Tylor Schiery.
- Mackenzie Julian, Swine, a six-year 4-H member, daughter of Nikki Stinson.
- Lauren Anderson, Meat Goats, a 10-year 4-H member, daughter of Tom and Janell Anderson.
- Lacey Kirkpatrick, representing the dairy division.
- Maddox Thompson, Sheep, a second-year 4-H member, son of James and Amanda Thompson.
- Regan Myers, Dairy Goats, a five-year 4-H member, daughter of Justin and Lynne Myers.
