Students enrolled in the Rossville Consolidated School District Summer Child Care Program recently enjoyed a hands-on learning experience at Arni’s Restaurant in Rossville.

Manager Brandon Graves and his crew welcomed the children and provided a behind-the-scenes look at how the restaurant operates. With guidance from Arni’s team, students learned how to prepare pizzas and breadsticks while discovering the teamwork, organization, and attention to detail required in the restaurant business.
“We greatly appreciate Brandon Graves and the entire Arni’s crew for providing such a memorable experience,” said Dr. Jim Hanna, Superintendent of Rossville Consolidated School District. “Community partnerships help children connect learning to the world around them. Our students learned new skills, experienced the importance of teamwork, and had a great deal of fun.”
The visit to Arni’s was one of many educational and recreational opportunities offered through the Summer Child Care Program. Throughout the summer, students visited the Indianapolis Zoo, explored agriculture at Fair Oaks Farms, experienced the outdoors at Turkey Run State Park, and participated in a model rocket launch led by local Boy Scouts. The program also offered games, arts and crafts, outdoor recreation, and structured activities designed to keep children active, curious, and connected.
Rossville’s Summer Child Care Program operated from May 26 through July 31, providing families with a safe, dependable, and engaging option during the school summer break.
As the summer program comes to a close, Rossville Consolidated School District is preparing for the 2026–2027 school year. The district looks forward to welcoming back its resident students and opening its doors to transfer students seeking an exceptional educational experience.
Registration will be held on July 22 and 23. Parents are encouraged to complete registration online through the Rossville Consolidated School District website. Families interested in transferring to Rossville Schools are encouraged to call 765-379-2990 to learn more about the district’s academic programs, student opportunities, and supportive school community.
Rossville Consolidated School District extends its sincere appreciation to Brandon Graves and the Arni’s staff for their hospitality and commitment to making this a wonderful experience for the children. More information about Arni’s is available at the Arni’s Restaurant website.
