The City of Frankfort Launches Community Input Campaign for New Comprehensive Plan with Special Booth at Hot Dog Festival

The City of Frankfort is officially kicking off its community-wide engagement campaign for the development of a brand-new Comprehensive Plan. To make it as easy as possible for residents to share their voices, representatives from American Structurepoint will be set up with a special interactive booth at the upcoming Frankfort Hot Dog Festival.
Festivalgoers are encouraged to stop by the American Structurepoint booth throughout the weekend to chat with planners, share their ideas, suggest community improvements, and voice any concerns regarding the future of Frankfort.
This comprehensive plan will serve as a foundational roadmap guiding housing, economic development, infrastructure, and quality of life for years to come. City leaders emphasize that public participation is vital to ensure the plan reflects the true desires of the people who live and work here.
“Community engagement is incredibly important so the City can hear what the residents want in their own community,” said Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets. “This blueprint belongs to all of us. Whether you want to see changes in our parks, housing, or local businesses, we need your active participation to help shape the future of Frankfort.”
For residents unable to attend the festival or those who prefer to complete materials online, the City has launched a dedicated project website alongside public surveys available in both English and Spanish:
The City of Frankfort invites everyone to take part in this exciting initiative. Stop by the booth during the Hot Dog Festival, visit the new website, and make your voice heard.
