Downtown Frankfort is buzzing with activity as crews, volunteers and organizers put the finishing touches on preparations for the annual Frankfort Hot Dog Festival.
Throughout the day Thursday, festival staff and volunteers could be seen setting up vendor booths, stages, fencing, tents and activity areas as downtown transforms into the site of one of Clinton County’s largest summer events. Streets are being prepared to welcome thousands of visitors expected to attend the festival, with entertainment venues, food vendors and attractions taking shape across the festival grounds.
As downtown finishes its transformation, organizers encourage residents and visitors to come out, support local businesses, enjoy the entertainment and celebrate one of Frankfort’s favorite summer traditions.
