Kirklin Christian Church will host a Fish Fry Fundraiser on Saturday, August 29, with proceeds benefiting Walt Minnick and helping support him and his family during his journey with liver cancer.
The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kirklin Christian Church and will offer a meal featuring fish, french fries, coleslaw, applesauce, and dessert. Carryout will also be available.
Meal prices are $15 for adults, $7 for children ages 6-10, and children under age 6 can eat free.
Organizers invite the community to come together for an afternoon of good food, fellowship, and support for a great cause.
“Every bite supports a great cause,” organizers said, encouraging guests to “come for the fish, stay for the fellowship, and support a great cause.”
All proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward assisting Walt Minnick and his family as they navigate his battle with liver cancer.
