Beginning today, Sapphire Bay at Frankfort Parks & Recreation has transitioned to its late-season operating schedule.
The aquatic center will now be open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. through Labor Day weekend. On Labor Day, the pool will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
Water walking sessions will continue through August 14 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
The Prairie Creek Park Splash Pad remains open on its regular schedule. Frankfort Parks & Recreation will announce a closing date for the splash pad later this season.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the remaining weekends of summer at Sapphire Bay before the season comes to an end.
