At approximately 9:28 p.m. Sunday, the Lebanon Police Department, Lebanon Fire Department and Boone County EMS were dispatched to the 900 block of Beverly Drive for a reported structure collapse.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered that a vehicle had driven completely through the residence. The vehicle and driver were located in the vacant lot next to the home, where the vehicle had become stuck on a dirt mound.
The residence was occupied by two people and two dogs at the time of the incident. One occupant was transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment of injuries.
One of the dogs was also injured. The dog was transported by Lebanon Fire
Department Battalion 201 to a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic for lifesaving treatment.
The incident remains under investigation. According to police, there is currently no reason to believe the crash was a criminal act.
