A new residential development in Flora will take an important step forward Friday, Aug. 14, with a groundbreaking ceremony for Carriage Estates, a new residential subdivision planned for the community.
The ceremony is scheduled for noon Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, at 713 Carriage Lane in Flora.
Community leaders, project partners and residents are invited to attend the event and celebrate the beginning of the development.
The development is being supported by the Carroll County Economic Development Corporation and READI — Regional Economic Acceleration & Development Initiative, along with Citation Homes, which has been building homes since 1978.
