Eight Boone Power linemen will put their skills and teamwork to the test this Thursday and Friday at the 2026 Indiana Electric Cooperative Lineman Rodeo.
The annual event brings electric cooperative linemen together for a series of challenging competitions designed to showcase the knowledge, precision, safety skills and teamwork required to keep electric service running safely and reliably.
Boone Power encourages the community to attend the event and cheer on the local competitors as they compete against other electric cooperative linemen from across Indiana.
The Lineman Rodeo is open to the public and provides an opportunity for residents to see firsthand the demanding work performed by line crews.
The event also highlights the importance of safety in the electric utility industry and recognizes the dedication of the men and women who work in challenging conditions to serve their communities.
