The Hamilton County Juvenile Services Center will hold open interviews Saturday, Aug. 22, for individuals interested in joining its team as a corrections officer.
The hiring event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Juvenile Services Center, located at 18106 Cumberland Road in Noblesville.
All potential applicants will have the opportunity to participate in an interview. Candidates who successfully complete the interview process will move on to a written test.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants for the position must:
- Be a United States citizen
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license, with a valid Indiana driver’s license required by the time of appointment
- Have a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma
- Be able to read and write English
- Have no felony convictions
- Have no misdemeanor conviction involving domestic violence
- Have no dishonorable or undesirable discharge from any branch of the Armed Forces
- Successfully complete all components of the selection process
- Pass a stringent drug screening
