Delphi Public Library to Launch Riley Park StoryWalk September 5

The Delphi Public Library is inviting families and readers of all ages to celebrate the launch of the new Riley Park StoryWalk on Saturday, September 5, at 5:00 p.m.

A StoryWalk is an interactive reading experience that combines literacy with the outdoors. Pages from a children’s book are displayed along a walking path, allowing visitors to read the story as they make their way through the park.

The StoryWalk is designed for readers of all ages and will feature new stories throughout the year, giving families a reason to return to Riley Park and enjoy a different book each time.

To help celebrate the launch, the first 100 visitors will receive a free treat from Kona Ice.

Those unable to attend the September 5 launch will still have plenty of opportunities to experience the StoryWalk. The installation will remain at Riley Park as an ongoing feature, allowing visitors to enjoy the current story whenever they are able to visit.

The Riley Park StoryWalk was made possible through the generosity of the Andrew Carnegie Foundation and with the support of Delphi Parks and Recreation.
