Healthy Communities of Clinton County Offers Free Financial Wellness Program for Families

Families in Clinton County will have an opportunity to strengthen their financial skills this fall through a free financial literacy program offered by the Healthy Communities of Clinton County Coalition.

The six-week Financial Wellness program will be held every Wednesday from September 2 through October 7, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Trinity Hope Center, 806 N. Columbia St. in Frankfort.

Designed for the entire family, the program will provide practical information and tools to help participants feel more confident managing their finances and planning for the future.

Topics covered during the sessions will include budgeting, purchase planning, college savings and retirement planning. Adults and teens will participate in separate classes, allowing the material to be tailored to different age groups and financial needs.

The program is also designed to make it easier for families to participate. Supper will be served at 6 p.m., and childcare will be available for young children.

Participants will also have an added incentive to attend, with a gift card provided for each session attended.

Whether participants are working on creating a household budget, planning a major purchase, saving for a child’s education or preparing for retirement, the Financial Wellness program offers practical lessons that can be put to use in everyday life.

With no cost to participate and resources available for adults, teens and young children, the program provides an accessible way for Clinton County families to invest in their financial future.

Financial Wellness will meet each Wednesday, September 2 through October 7, at 6 p.m. at Trinity Hope Center in Frankfort. Families interested in building their financial knowledge and confidence are encouraged to take advantage of the free program.
