Bacon Fest Takes Over Downtown Delphi Today for 13th Annual Celebration

The wait is over. The 13th Annual Indiana Bacon Festival takes over downtown Delphi today, bringing together food, live music, family activities and plenty of bacon for a daylong celebration in the heart of the community.

The festival transforms Delphi’s historic Downtown Square and Central Plaza into a gathering place for visitors from throughout the region. Organizers have built the event around three things—Bacon, Bands & Brew—but there is much more to experience throughout the day.

More than 15 food vendors will be serving bacon-inspired creations, offering festivalgoers the chance to experience bacon in both traditional and unexpected ways. From savory dishes to sweet treats, the variety of food is expected to be one of the day’s biggest attractions.

Music will fill downtown throughout the festival, with live performances scheduled throughout the day. Tribute acts celebrating legendary groups such as Queen and ABBA will join regional musicians on stage, creating an energetic atmosphere for festival attendees.

Adults can visit the Brew Garden to sample Indiana craft beers and wines, while families can make their way to the Kids Zone, where children can enjoy games and activities.

The festival will also feature some of its most entertaining competitions, including the popular Bacon Eating Contest and the Backyard BBQ Cook-Off. Both events bring plenty of excitement and give attendees a chance to cheer on competitors.

While food is at the center of the celebration, the Indiana Bacon Festival has become a way for people to experience downtown Delphi and spend time with friends, family and neighbors.

The festival’s location near the Wabash River provides a scenic backdrop, while Delphi’s historic downtown, local shops and nearby attractions give visitors plenty to explore during their trip.

The grills are heating up, the music is ready and Delphi is preparing to welcome another day of bacon-filled fun. The 13th Annual Indiana Bacon Festival is happening today in downtown Delphi.
