Rachel Danielle Ussery, 39, of Lafayette, passed away August 24, 2026, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was born December 15, 1968, in Muncie to James Ullman and Donna (Anderson) Plough. She married Maurice Ussery in 2020 and he survives.
Rachel was an amazing mother and homemaker. She took great pride in caring for her husband and children. She was an avid reader, playing video games, and doing arts and crafts. She was a lover of nature and animals, but her family was her greatest passion. Playing games and teaching her children things in life gave her great joy.
Along with her husband, Rachel is survived by her children, Atticus Wilkinson and Devon Ussery; and her father.
She was preceded in passing by her mother and an older brother.
