Live music returns to Prairie Creek Park tonight as Mike Milligan & Steam Shovel take the stage as part of the Downtown Tune Night series.
The performance is scheduled for tonight, Thursday, September 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Prairie Creek Park.
Based out of Kokomo, Mike Milligan & Steam Shovel bring a high-energy blend of blues, soul, R&B, funk and blues-rock to the stage. The band is led by guitarist and vocalist Mike Milligan and is known for its soulful vocals, gritty guitar work and energetic performances.
The group has performed alongside a number of nationally recognized artists, including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Joe Bonamassa, Tower of Power and Aretha Franklin.
Tonight’s Downtown Tune Night performance provides an opportunity for area residents to enjoy an evening of live music in the park.
Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the outdoor concert.
