The community is invited to celebrate Hispanic culture, heritage and traditions tomorrow during the Festival de la Herencia Hispana, or Hispanic Heritage Festival, in downtown Delphi.
The festival will take place Saturday, October 3, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Delphi Courthouse Square, with activities also taking place at the Delphi Opera House.
The free, family-friendly celebration will feature an evening of live music, folkloric dancing, food, crafts, art and activities for children. Entertainment will be provided throughout the event, giving attendees an opportunity to experience and celebrate Hispanic culture and traditions.
The event will also feature a local art show showcasing artwork from area artists.
Admission to the festival is free, and entertainment is free for all ages. Organizers encourage families and community members to come downtown and enjoy an evening of music, dancing, food and fun.
