Clinton Central Friday Activities In Remembrance Of Those Lost On 9-11-2001 Followed By Football

Clinton Central Elementary Students learned about 9-11 Friday afternoon by listening and watching a video put together by Benni Shore and the help of her son Zander, Benni explained the reason we remember the date and used some props such as alarms and fake (baby power) smoke. The students loved the presentation.

The Flag was presented to the students, This flag is about 50 years old The Flag was originally  sewn by Elaine Brant Henderson and her mother. It was made to celebrate America’s Bicentennial  Birthday in 1976, and made many appearances throughout that year.  In 1980 it was brought out to celebrate Clinton County’s 150th birthday.
Since then it has been housed at the Michigantown school house museum

Friday night in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of 9-11 and the Country’s 250th birthday it once again found its way home to Clinton Central marking its own 50th birthday.
