Clinton County EMS is celebrating the achievement of Paramedic Jacy Parnin, who has earned the designation of Board-Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) through the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC).
The CCP-C is an international board certification for critical care transport professionals. The certification demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in critical care medicine, physiology, pharmacology, ventilator management and high-acuity clinical decision-making.
Parnin has continued to expand her education and professional experience. In May 2025, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), adding to her clinical background.
She also plays a role in training future paramedics. Parnin was recognized as Preceptor of the Year for Clinton County EMS’ 2025 paramedic cohort.
Clinton County EMS said Parnin’s commitment to education, professional development and patient care has made her an important member of the team.
Parnin is already looking toward her next professional goal, with plans to pursue the Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) credential.
Clinton County EMS congratulated Parnin on earning the CCP-C designation and recognized her continued commitment to patient care and education.
