The Russiaville Community Outreach and Russiaville Lions Club will host a free Health Fair on Wednesday, September 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Russiaville Lions Club, 555 N. Liberty St., Russiaville.
The event will offer a variety of free health screenings and information for area residents. Services will include:
- Free diabetes testing
- Cholesterol checks
- Basic vision screening
- Blood pressure checks
- Medicare advice
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
Participating service providers will include the Howard County Health Department, American Health Network, Samaritan Caregivers, Community Howard Regional Health, Ascension Kokomo, First Farmers Bank & Trust, AMVETS, Turnabout and Shelley Wieske, fitness coach. Russiaville Food Pantry will also be participating.
The event is free to attend. Organizers will accept canned and dry food items as well as cash donations for the Russiaville Food Pantry.
The Health Fair is sponsored by Russiaville Community Outreach and the Russiaville Lions Club.
