The community is invited to a Recover Out Loud event Thursday, Sept. 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Prairie Creek Park in Frankfort as part of National Recovery Month.
The event, hosted by Trinity Hope Center and the Healthy Communities of Clinton County Coalition, will include a recovery walk beginning at 5:15 p.m. Participants will walk from Prairie Creek Park to the Clinton County Courthouse with support from the Frankfort Police Department.
Free Recover Out Loud T-shirts will be available to participants while supplies last.
The evening will also feature music from Michael Bennett and Efusion Entertainment Mobile DJ, a free dinner provided by St. Matthew United Methodist Church and free ice cream from the Rossville Lions Club.
More than 30 vendors are expected to participate. Activities will also include recovery milestones from Brianna’s Hope, personal testimonies, bounce houses, yard games and raffle prizes.
The event is free and open to everyone in the community who supports recovery.
