Mayor Judy Sheets and the City of Frankfort have announced the next Sparkling Success Leadership Series Luncheon, scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Frankfort Neighborhood Center.
The luncheon will feature keynote speaker Anne Hazlett, senior director of Government Relations and Public Affairs at Purdue University.
Hazlett represents Purdue before the Indiana General Assembly, governor’s office, statewide and local elected officials, state agencies, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and the Indiana State Board of Education. She also helps develop public policy related to government issues affecting the university.
Hazlett is an Indiana native and previously served as senior advisor for rural affairs at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. Her leadership roles have also included chief counsel on the Senate Agriculture Committee and director of agriculture for Indiana.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. for networking and photos. Payment may be made by cash, check or card. A 3% service fee applies to card transactions.
The Sparkling Success Leadership Series, hosted by Mayor Sheets, provides opportunities for local leaders to gather, learn and connect through the experiences of influential women who have shaped communities across Indiana.
Each luncheon includes professional networking, shared learning and conversation in a luncheon setting. Sponsorships are available for the annual series or individual events.
“Ms. Hazlett’s breadth of experience in federal government and across Indiana, especially in communities like ours, will provide us with a unique learning opportunity,” said Mayor Sheets. “Her insights on economic development and innovation will be inspiring for us all.”
