Early voting totals are above average with approximately 614 as of 3pm Wednesday October 14th, reported Clinton County Clerk, Stephanie Harshbarger. In addition, her staff has mailed 240 absentee ballots.
Harshbarger added that “I encourage all eligible voters to make their voices heard by participating in the election. My office is committed to providing voters with accurate information and ensuring that voting is accessible, secure, and conducted in accordance with Indiana law. We encourage voters to review their voting options, check their polling locations and hours, and make a plan to vote.”

The Clinton County Annex will be open from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday throughout October.
Vote early! – Be informed!
A voter’s ballot, based on voter’s location in the county, can be viewed at IndianaVoters.in.gov prior to voting. The list of Vote Center Locations, Dates & Times, and the two Public Questions that are on every ballot, can also be found there, with other pertinent information.
To research the two questions and hear the pros and cons for each, see the online news story titled “Clinton County Daily News Shares Both Sides of Two Indiana Ballot Questions” posted earlier today on this website.
The poll workers are a loyal group, but there is always a need for more. A per diem allowance is paid to eligible workers. Those interested can contact the Clerks Office at 765-659-6335. Harshbarger expressed her appreciation “for poll workers and election staff who work hard to serve our community and help ensure a smooth election.”
