
Guest in the morning will be Agriculture Liaison for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management Julia Wickard, who will talk about how IDEM works with farmers; former Farm Bureau President and Purdue Ag Economist Don Villwock, who will talk about the future economy from the farmer’s perspective; as well as Indiana State chemist and Purdue Seed Commissioner Dr. Robert Waltz, who will discuss the job of the state chemist.
The afternoon program will feature Mike Lawson of Reynolds Farm Equipment, who will talk about the latest equipment on the farm; Pioneer Seeds District Representative Fred Kramer, who will talk about genetics in the seed industry; and Frankfort Parks Superintendent Travis Sheets, who be talking about the farming challenges in Liberia.
