Royal Interpack is seeking tax abatement on a 130,000 square-foot operation. The company already has a presence in Anderson and could begin construction next month in Boone County. The new facility is expected to be complete by the end of 2021 and the 130 jobs Royal Interpack plans to create are slated to pay close to $19 per hour on average.
NTN is also seeking tax abatement. The company, which has operations in Columbus and Anderson, is looking to locate to a 280,000 square-foot facility in Whitestown that would employ 68 for jobs that pay an average of nearly $18 per hour. Its tax abatement filings with the town did not include the amount NTN plans to pump into the facility.
