Jeanette Theresa (Quellhorst) Padgett, 91, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Tipton, Indiana, on April 1, 1935, the youngest child of the late Raymond and Nellie (Tragesser) Quellhorst.
Jeanette was a 1953 graduate of Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Indiana. She was a member of the Prom Queen’s Court, business manager of the Cedars yearbook and President of the Sunbeam Society. She attended Ball State University.
On June 5, 1965, she was united in marriage to Gerald Padgett in Lebanon, Indiana. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2024.
Jeanette loved living in the country and thrived as a farmer’s wife, mother to her four children and homemaker. She was a meticulous bookkeeper of the farm finances. An excellent gardener, she produced a prolific harvest each fall with canned goods filling the basement shelves. She was also known for her outstanding jams and jellies, pies and numerous other baked goods. The kitchen always smelled amazing!
Jeanette poured an enormous amount of love and energy into the growth and well-being of her children. It would be impossible to count the number of hours she spent sewing special clothing for them, attending their many activities, volunteering for Girl Scouts, 4-H, L.H.S. Band Boosters and several other organizations.
At the age of 60, Jeanette returned to school and obtained her real estate license. She continued in that career for 20 years, earning multiple top salesperson awards at Century 21. She built a solid reputation as an outstanding agent. Young couples especially loved working with her, benefiting from her wisdom and honesty.
She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon her entire life, acting as a Eucharistic Minister and serving funeral meals. In her later years, she found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her sister, Madonna Campbell; children, Thomas G. Padgett, Penny Keller (Brent), Kathy Dunshee (Doyle), and Elizabeth Keith (Shawn); grandchildren, John Padgett (Bailey), Laura Beth Buland (Erik), Emily Padgett, Stella Padgett, William Padgett, Robert Lee, Sydney DeBaun (Logan), Olivia Hooker (Austin), Luke Dunshee, Samantha Dunshee, Matthew Keith (Lauren), Ryan Keith and Sarah Keith; great grandchildren, Andi, Walker, Harper and Riley Padgett, Henry, Oliver and Jack Buland, Owen and Mabel DeBaun and Grayson Keith as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Jeanette was preceded in death by her siblings, Bernice Cleary, Raymond (Bud) Quellhorst, Delores Thoma, Martha Thrine, Mary Wiley and Jim Quellhorst and grandsons, Max Dunshee and Jacob Dunshee.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. Funeral Mass is planned for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 East South Street, in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon.

Violet Irene Lafferty, 87, of Kirklin, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026.
Violet was born on February 18, 1939, in Sheridan to William Allison Pierce and Helen Irene (Ridge) Pierce Commons. She attended Sheridan High School and graduated with the Class of 1957.
In 1956, Violet met Earnest Alvin “Ernie” Lafferty at Dewey’s Drive-In restaurant. The two later married and built a loving life together, raising four children: Monica, David, Darrin, and Dennis. Violet and Ernie shared 61 years of marriage before Ernie was called home in 2017. Violet was a devoted wife and homemaker who deeply cared for her family.
After her two older children graduated, Violet began working as the elementary school secretary for the Clinton Central School Corporation. She faithfully served the school for 23 years before retiring. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling with Ernie and spending time with family.
Violet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernie Lafferty; both of her parents; a step-sister; and two step-brothers.
She is survived by her brother, Max (Sue) Pierce; and her four children: Monica (Dan) Kiger of Lebanon, David (Julie) Lafferty of Kirklin, Dennis (Tiffany) Lafferty of Apache Junction, AZ and Darrin Lafferty of Kirklin. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Other surviving relatives include a step-brother, a half-brother, and step-grandchildren.
Violet felt deeply blessed in life and believed her greatest blessing was her relationship with God and His Son, Jesus Christ, whom she knew as her Lord and Savior. Her prayer was that her family and friends would also come to know Him as their Lord and Savior.

Visitation is planned for Friday, March 20, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the funeral home with Pastor Byron Fritz officiating. Additional visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow services at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan, Indiana.

Mary Luetta Howe, 88, left this earth to join her husband Robert James Howe in heaven on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Mary was born to the late Samuel Raymond and Frances Adelia (Marlow) Bailey. She was blessed to be the only girl among five brothers who treated her like a princess. Bob, Tom, Sam, Dick, and Kenny Bailey.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Wanda (Ronald) Baird and Linda Doke. Ron was more like a son to her, and she lived with them for eleven years. She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth (Sue) Bailey; brother-in-law, Richard (Wilma) Howe; grandkids whom she loved dearly, Mike (Yvonne) Baird, Amber (Scott) Miller, Kurt (Carrie) Baird, Andy Doke, Ryan (Sheena) Baird, Ashley (Shawn) Coleman, and Aaron (Hannah) Doke; great grandkids, Shantel (Brian) Telljohann, Chelsea (Aaron) Hiland, Michaela (Richard) Stover, Caden (Aubrey Stewart) Baird, Casey Baird, Caitlyn (Brendan) Hawbaker, Lily Coleman, Cami Baird, Aubrey Miller, Noah Baird, Clara Coleman, Breyann Miller, Eliza Baird, Wyatt Miller, Charlee Coleman, Jeanna Doke, Isaac Baird, Carter Doke, Carsten Doke, and Hadley Doke; and eight great-great grandkids. Mary (Aunt Lue) was also blessed with many loving nieces and nephews. She also had a great group of lady friends from her school years whom she was still in contact with until her death.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Robert James Howe; her parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Frances Bailey, Thomas and June Bailey, Samuel and Jacqueline Kay Bailey, Richard and Jackie Bailey, Barbara Smith and Wilma Howe; brother-in-law, Thomas Howe; and her ex-son-in-law, Kim Doke.
Mary was a member of the Lebanon Church of Christ. She worked at Peter Paul Candy in Frankfort until they closed. She enjoyed riding horses and camping with her family and later helping her husband with his trucking business.

Visitation is planned from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Kathy Sue Cross, 73, passed away Friday evening, August 1, 2025, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on November 26, 1951, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Felix and Anna Adell (Ewing) Wethington.
On July 12, 1968, she was united in marriage to John C. Cross in Lebanon; he survives.
She was raised in Boone County and attended Thorntown High School. She spent her working career at Federal Mogel as a set-up operator.
Kathy loved her family fiercely. She attended many sporting events for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, camping, motorcycle riding and horseback riding in her younger years. She was also proud of her accomplishments with her UAW family. She loved spending as much time as she could at their lake home. She spent many hours reading books and watching Indiana basketball (Pacers, Fever and IU).
Survivors include her husband, John Cross of Lebanon; daughter, Sheryl (Rod) Dunahee of Lebanon; daughter-in-law, Becky Cross of Thorntown; grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan) Dunahee Johnson, Levi (Kaylie) Dunahee, Colton Cross, and Kayleigh Vernon; great grandchildren, Rayce Cross, Zoey Vernon, Kendall Johnson, Aidan Johnson, Weston Vernon, and Kash Smith; two sisters, Ann Albaugh of New Market and Martha Sigler of Mechanicsburg; brother-in-law, Steve (Jeryl) Cross; sister-in-law, Sherrie (Jansen) Ausherman; and many nieces and nephews.

John Ray Washam, Sr., 71, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on April 19, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana; a son of the late Ora Reggie and Flossie (Birge) Washam.
On December 26, 2002, he married Patricia Ann (Vann) Washam in Brown County, Indiana. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2023.
John attended Lebanon High School.
He worked as a machinist at Ransburg Corporation in Indianapolis for several years. John also held the position of tool and dye coordinator at Federal Mogul in Frankfort. Additionally, he owned a machine shop in Kirklin.
John enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and attending car shows. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed.

Larry Gene Sheets, 82, of Kirklin, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. Born August 29, 1942, in Lebanon, Larry was a son of the late Floyd Warren Sheets and Helen Pauline (Reagan) Sheets.
On Nov 25, 1961, he was married to Julia Ann (Brown) Sheets in Clinton County. She passed away on July 25, 2023.
Larry was a 1960 graduate of Jackson Township High School. He had dedicated his career to the United States Postal Service, delivering mail for over 34 years.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather. He enjoyed mowing the lawn, playing golf and softball, and was an avid fan of the Indianapolis 500. Larry held memberships with the Mechanicsburg Christian Church and National Association of Letter Carriers.
Survivors include two children, Angie (William Bogan) Sheets of Kirklin and David Sheets of Kirklin; four grandchildren, Alexis Mosby, Kylie Mosby, Martita Sheets, and Victoria Sheets; great grandson, Giovanni Abdul-Haqq; brother, Donald (Judy) Sheets of Lebanon; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Larry was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Jane Ann and Robert Byland and a brother in infancy, James Harvey Sheets.
The family will host a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Mechanicsburg Christian Church in Mechanicsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his arrangements for cremation.

]]>Patty was a 1976 graduate of Westfield High School. She worked as a custodian for many years and most recently at Clinton Central High School. Patty also was employed at Walmart in Tipton.
Patty enjoyed spending time outdoors and her favorite vacation spot was the beach. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her beloved family, creating memories that would last forever.
Survivors include her mother, Alvina K. “Babe” Rheinheimer of Lebanon; daughter, Shiloh R. Rice of Lebanon; brother, John F. Rheinheimer, Jr. of Sheridan; sisters Pamela K. Mrs. Virginia Carol “Ginny” Hussong, 90, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at CrownPointe Assisted Living in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Lebanon, on July 24, 1934, a daughter of the late Ross Russel and Emma Martha (Smith) Phillips.
On July 1, 1956, she was united in marriage to Donald Leon Hussong at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Boone County. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2016, sharing 59 loving years together.
Ginny graduated from Lebanon High School in 1952. She worked from 1952 to 1962 as a secretary to the superintendent of Lebanon Community School Corporation and had also been the financial secretary at the First Presbyterian Church in Lebanon. She then was employed at the Boone County State Bank for 24 years and retired from Ameritrust (now, KeyBank) in 1989 as Public Relations Officer. After retirement she was an instructional aide part-time at the Lebanon Middle School until 1997. Ginny also operated a Cameo Typing Service for 18 years.
She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, serving as a teacher, camp counselor and VCS leader. Ginny also served as president and treasurer of Presbyterian Women. She was a long-time honorary active member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, having served as national treasurer, and Indiana registered agent, in addition to many local offices. She was a former member of Zonta International Women’s Organization, Boone County Council on Aging, Lebanon Revitalization Committee, and treasurer of the Lebanon Welfare League. Ginny served as 1988 county chairman for United Way of Central Indiana and had been awarded a Key to City of Lebanon. She was Boone County Businesswoman of the Year in 1989.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Ginny enjoyed writing and was a published poet, publishing five poems in Ideals Magazine.
Survivors include her son, Brent L. (Suzan) Hussong of Nashville, Indiana; grandson, Nicholas S. “Nick” Hussong; close family friend, Ron (Kim) Batts, brothers-in-law, Harold (Janet) Hussong and William (Sharon) Hussong; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ginny was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Ross Phillips and sister, Margaret “Peggy” Irene (Gary) Barnett.

Mrs. Judith A. Goodwin, 86 passed away peacefully in her home on Friday December 27, 2024. She was born July 14, 1938. A daughter of the late Louis and Mildred Miller.
She was a graduate of Warren Central High School.
In 1956, Judy was united in marriage to Lee Goodwin at Old Bethel Methodist Church.
Judy was an accomplished musician throughout her life. She was a church organist in several churches around the area. She was also active in Music Education for Wilking and Meridian Music Companies, touching the lives of many students and teachers through the years.
Judy was active in 4-H as a project leader. She was also an active member of the Methodist church.
Judy is survived by her husband, Lee; sister, Karen; daughters, Marcia Goodwin Mills and Angela Goodwin Volpert; and six grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Mark.
She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. It is impossible to explain in words how special and how very much Judy was loved by all that knew her.
Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Hutton Cemetery, near Zionsville.

Gary William Day, 68, of Thorntown, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. Born on April 24, 1956 in Lebanon, Indiana, he was the beloved son of the late William Harold Day and Elizabeth (Woods) Day.
Gary was a proud graduate of Granville Wells High School, class of 1974. Shortly after graduation, he answered the call to serve his country and honorably served in the United States Navy as a submariner aboard the USS Alexander Hamilton SSBN 617.
A man of many talents and tireless dedication, Gary worked as a production manager and electronic technician for Naval Avionics. He was also a teamster, spending many years as a devoted truck driver. In addition, he owned a successful mowing business, where he specialized in caring for and maintaining cemeteries with his two boys, Gary II and Kenneth.
Gary’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. He had a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, which brought him guidance, strength, and peace. His faith shone brightly in the way he lived, treating others with kindness, compassion, and integrity.
Gary’s roots ran deep in the farming community, where he enjoyed raising cows and pigs. He also cherished his time outdoors, finding joy in riding motorcycles, watching all forms of motorsports, fishing, camping, and barbecuing.
His loyal life partner and companion, his beloved Linda and dog Oliver, was always by his side, sharing in his many adventures and bringing him great happiness.
Gary was deeply involved in his community and was a member of numerous organizations, including the American Legion Post 72, NRA, Loyal Order of Moose in Crawfordsville, Fraternal Order of Eagles #1005, VFW in Crawfordsville, and the Plainfield Masonic Lodge. He was also a lifelong member of the DAV.
Known for his integrity, unwavering work ethic, and generosity, Gary lived a life of purpose and love. He was a man of strong character who inspired everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Above all, his greatest joy and source of pride was his family. As a devoted father, Gary’s steadfast guidance, unconditional love, and countless sacrifices shaped the lives of his children, Gary II and Kenneth. To them, he was not just a dad – he was our hero.
Gary is survived by his life partner, Linda Lou Cox and her daughter, Julia; his children, Gary W. (Katie) Day II of Shirley, Indiana and Kenneth H. Day (life partner, Sierra Loy) of Crawfordsville; his brothers, Mike D. (Lou Ann) Day of North Carolina, Jamie D. (Shannon) Day of Avon, and Harold A. Day of Clayton; and his brother-in-law, James Breese of Lebanon.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in passing by his sister, Nora Ann Breese and brother, Walter M. Day.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Crawfordsville American Legion, 101 Walter Remley Dr., in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Inurnment will take place at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Jamestown, Indiana at a later date. Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
Gary’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and faith. His legacy will live on in the hearts and those who knew and love him, and his memory will continue to inspire those who carry on his values.

Grant was a member of the VFW Post 910 Auxiliary in Lebanon.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Linda Nicholson of Crawfordsville; children, Grant Nicholson, Jr. of Thorntown, Lacey Nicholson of Thorntown, Jocelynn Nicholson of Fowler, and Jessica Nicholson of East Lynn, West Virginia; several grandchildren; and brother, Anthony Nicholson of Lebanon.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Scott Nicholson, James Joseph Nicholson and Brandon M. Nicholson.
No services are planned at this time. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation.

Thomas Rodney Mark McCormick, known affectionately as Tom by friends and Poppy by his grandbaby, passed away on December 28, 2024, at his home in Advance, Indiana. Born on March 3, 1958, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, Tom lived a life dedicated to his faith, family, and community.
A devoted husband to Nita McCormick since 1986, Tom cherished nearly 40 years of marriage filled with love and shared adventures, including a memorable trip to Israel, where they renewed their wedding vows. He was a proud father to his son, Matthew McCormick, and daughter-in-law, Jody McCormick. He was a doting grandfather to his granddaughter, Penelope McCormick. Tom is also survived by his brothers, Mike McCormick (married to Nancy), Tim McCormick (married to Cindy), and Laine Metsker (married to Sherry), who will remember him fondly. Predeceased by his mother, Jessie McCormick-Metsker-Grimes; father, Ralph McCormick; stepfathers, Bill Metsker and Burley Grimes; and brother, Pat McCormick.
Tom’s academic journey began at Ball State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Theater and Communications in 1982, followed by a Master’s in Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1994. His passion for learning and teaching was evident in his roles as a beloved pastor, mentor, and brother in Christ. He touched the lives of many through ministries such as Kairos Prison Ministry, Walk to Emmaus, and the Fellowship of Christian Magicians. Yet, he also made deep connections, sharing his faith with others through personal ministries in his local community. His unwavering commitment to sharing the light of God was a guiding force in his life that carried him through to the end.
Known for his artistic talents, Tom created hundreds of novelties, showcasing his skills in multimedia technologies. His creativity was matched only by his studious nature in the Bible, as he continually sought to understand and share biblical truths. Tom’s enthusiasm for life extended to his favorite TV series, “The Chosen,” which he eagerly shared with others, even leading spontaneous Bible studies in theaters.
Tom’s legacy and proudest accomplishment was receiving his mother’s faith in Jesus Christ and passing it onto his son. He will be remembered for his significant contributions to his community, his leadership in spiritual growth, and his steadfast faith in his Lord, Jesus Christ.
Memorial Service: Saturday, January 4, 2025, Located at The Community Fellowship in Jamestown. Previously known as Harvest Time Fellowship, 7925 Old Union Road, in Jamestown. 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM family recessional 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM light refreshments and fellowship 1:00 PM Memorial Service. In his memory, friends and family are invited to celebrate his life and the profound impact he had on their hearts and minds by sharing a story and photo, as is the classic McCormick way. Patricia Leen “Pat” Hine, 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on October 20, 1945, in Robinson County, North Carolina.
She was married to James Eugene Hine for 38 years; he survives.
Pat was employed at J.P. Stevens Manufacturing in North Carolina for 20 years before retiring.
Survivors include her loving husband, James Eugene Hine; daughter, Wanda McCarthy; step children, Cheryl Hine, Karen Robinson, and Russell Hine; one brother; and four sisters.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by two brothers.
Memorial Services will be held at the Elizaville Baptist Church at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation.

Mrs. Patricia “Pat” J. Gann, 91, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. She was born on August 28, 1933, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Virgil Ottinger and Eunice (Muston) Ottinger.
Pat grew up on farms in New Augusta, Pittsboro and Jamestown, Indiana, which allowed her to cultivate her love of gardening, cooking and baking. Feeding others became her love language. She also learned what it meant to be a hard-working and a dedicated caretaker with the fortitude to carry on during the most difficult times.
Patricia was a 1951 graduate of Jackson Township High School in Jamestown. During high school, she was introduced to her brother Russell’s friend, Ralph Gann, whom she married on September 14, 1951, at the Jamestown Christian Church, where they are current members. They spent 73 loving years together.
Pat loved shopping, spending time at the lake camping, sun-bathing and enjoying friends around the campfire, square dancing and most of all taking care of her family. She was an avid collector of porcelain dolls, loved cooking and baking and maintained a meticulous home. Holidays and birthdays were always a big deal and meant everything to her. Her home was never in short supply of candies, cookies, cakes, pies and love. She and Ralph loved exploring new places by taking cruises and traveling the country. When it came time to organize her 60th high school reunion, Pat was quick to volunteer to help organize it and she greatly enjoyed visiting with her high school friends.
Patricia worked for W.W. Poultry of Jamestown, Aircraft and Electronics of Avon, and Kauffman Engineering of Lebanon. She retired in 1982.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was proceeded in death by her five siblings and her beloved Boston Terrier, Missy.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Ralph; three children, Linda (Mike) Nodley of Lebanon, Michael (Roxanne) Gann of Florida, and James (Sara) Gann of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Cary Nodley, Krissy Nodley, Adrienne Schmetzer, Christian (Doris) Gann, Laura Edwards, Alicia (Ben) Weaver, Breanna (Jeff) Pratt; great-grandchildren, Nora, Madeline, Hayden, Lilly, Eli, Brooks, Emilia and Uriah; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are planned for 12:00 noon on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow services at Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Morris Melvin Sillery, 94, of Jamestown, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Witham Memorial Hospital. He was born in Roachdale, Indiana on January 15, 1930, to Roy C. and Grace Winaford (Crump) Sillery.
Morris married Mildred Lois Baker on December 2, 1956, in Whitesville, Indiana and she preceded him in death on March 6, 2002. He then married Sandy Miller Goodall on January 27, 2004; she survives.
Morris graduated from Ladoga High School in Ladoga, Indiana and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953-1956.
He was a lifelong farmer, working at Hovermale and Hedge International Harvester from 1964-1976. Morris also worked at Jamestown Hardware from 1976-1984, and then was owner and operator of M & L Small Motor Repair from 1984 until retirement. He was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church, serving as Deacon, church trustee, and elder emeritus.
Morris was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandpa. Survivors include his children, Karen (Kent) Hiller of Jamestown, Sharon Kay (Bryce) Huckstep of Jamestown, and Keith (Connie) Sillery of Clarks Hill; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Roy L. Sillery of Ladoga; and several nieces and nephews.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois and two brothers, Charles Sillery and Glen Sillery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Jamestown Christian Church, 900 North Lebanon Street, in Jamestown, Indiana. Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Jamestown Christian Church. Interment will follow services at Roachdale Cemetery with Chad Ranson officiating.
Memorials contributions may be made to the Jamestown Christian Church building fund.

Mr. Robert Joe “Bob” Daniels, 87, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the Richard L. Roudebush Veterans’ Administration Medical Center Indianapolis. He was born in Middlefork, Indiana, on January 29, 1937, a son of the late Roy Daniels and Margaret (Kanable) Daniels.
Bob grew up in Middlefork and later moved to Michigantown, where he completed all 12 years of schooling, graduating from Michigantown High School in 1955. After graduation, he settled on a farm near Thorntown.
Bob honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1960 to 1962. During his time in service, Robert pursued aviation training.
On May 23, 1963, he married Mary Anne (Tomlin) Daniels in Frankfort; she survives.
In 1968, Bob was the clerk and repairman at Thrift Supply in Frankfort. He was also employed at John Deere and Massey Ferguson, both in Frankfort, retiring in 1999. Bob also attended Mechanicsburg Christian Church and was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Daniels of Lebanon; sister, Betty Frances Smith of Frankfort; sister-in-law, Marilyn Daniels of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Harry Daniels, Charles Thomas Daniels, Susie Daniels, Carol Ann (Paul) Tolen, and Virginia Ruth (Leland) Caldwell and brother-in-law, Max Smith.

]]>Bill graduated from Huntington High School in 1956 and attended St. Joseph College.
On April 4, 1959, he married Doris Anne (Poulson) Sutton at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hessen Cassel, IN.
He was employed at Magnavox Corporation in Ft. Wayne and with Commercial Filters in Lebanon before starting his own janitorial supplies and services business. After moving to Lebanon in 1962, Bill was an active parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a member of Elks Lodge 635, where he enjoyed playing cards. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Lebanon for 40 years and served as club President from 1985 to 1986. He also served as Kiwanis Lt. Governor for the region. Bill spearheaded the coordination of Lebanon’s Share Food program.
Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Doris Sutton; children, Michael (Cindi) Sutton of Ft. Worth, TX, Mathias (Leslie) Sutton of West Lafayette, IN, Anne Beckley of Pendleton, IN, Mark (Esther) Sutton of Harker Heights, TX, John Sutton of Springfield, AR, and Barbara (Bill) Fetter of St. Charles, IL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Alice (Keith) Hoover of Bloomington, IN.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Alan Beckley and daughter-in-law, Christy Sutton.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in the spring. Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana has been entrusted with his arrangements.
