BRIDGe Helping Families In Clinton County

The BRIDGe (By Remembering I Develop and Grow) program started last night in Clinton County.  This program is presented by Healthy Communities of Clinton County of Clinton County and Guardian Angel Foundation.  It is a support program for bereaved families – a place where grieving children, teenagers, and adults can connect and find hope.  The goals of the program include:

  • Providing bereaved families with opportunities to connect with, receive support from, and offer support to other bereaved families
  • Encouraging family members to talk openly with each other about their grief and about their loved ones who died
  • Offering information about grief, including how children and teenagers grieve differently than adults
  • Providing activities to help bereaved children, teenagers, and adults learn more about their grief and honor the memory of their loved one

They will meet again next Tuesday evening at The Crossing, 3002 E Wabash Street in Frankfort from 6pm to 8pm.  Complimentary supper is served.  This programming is available free of charge through funding from the United Way.  Childcare provided for children under the age of five years.  Please call Stephanie Kozuch at 765-212-1808 for more information.
