CC Fair Council Announces ‘The Fairgrounds Challenge”

The Clinton County Fair Council introduces “The Fairgrounds Challenge”.  The purpose of “The Challenge” is to provide funds so the council can make safety improvements in the area of the livestock show arena.

“Title Sponsors” of The Challenge are: Radio Stations WILO 96.9FM, WILO 1570 and Shine 99;  Susan Kaspar State Farm Insurance; and Miller Precision Ag, Inc., your local AGI dealer. The early support from these sponsors has made it possible for the fair council to begin the installation of a new public address system in the livestock show arena.  The installation is to be completed by the first day of the Clinton County & 4-H Fair.

According to CCFC member Lee Anthrop, “The Fairgrounds Challenge” is a matching fund drive.”  Sponsorships now total $15,000.  With the matching drive, the Clinton County Fair Council hopes to receive an additional $15,000 thru public support  Already one private donation has provided $5,000 for the public campaign.

The council has located ‘The Fairgrounds Challenge” collection boxes at: WILO/WSHW Studios, 1401 West Barner Street; Susan Kaspar State Farm Insurance, 455 Wet Walnut Street; and at the Clinton County Extension Service Office, 1111 South Jackson Street; all in Frankfort.  During the fair additional collection boxes will be located around the fairgrounds.

Anthrop asks the public to “support this first public drive” to make improvements to facilities at the Clinton County Fairgrounds.

The Clinton County & 4-H Fair is July 13-20, 2019 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds, 1701 South Jackson Street, Frankfort, Indiana.
