Clinton Central Honors Coach George Gilbert At Final Home Game Friday Night

It was Carroll over Clinton Central Friday night 49-6 and they remain undefeated.

Carroll scored all 49 points in the first half. Clinton Central scored their touchdown in the final minutes of play when Daiden Taulbee caught a 31 yard pass thrown by Leo DeLeon.

Coach Rosa says “The boys gave it all they had and never gave up”. He also says the Bulldogs won the second half 6-0. This was Clinton Central’s final home game.

It was also Senior night introducing Seniors and parents.

The big highlight of the night was paying tribute to Coach George Gilbert.

Coach Gilbert threw the coin in the air for possession to start the game. Central won the toss.  The Alumni then lined up to shake hands as he left the field.

Shoups cooked an entire hog for the pre-game meal for Coach and alumni.

The evening ended with some alumni and coach Rosa at the Angry Donkey in Michigantown for some appetizers and conversation.

Pictures of the pre-game activities and the game can be seen in the links below.

Thank you Coach Gilbert for the memories.
