Clinton Central defeated Delphi Tuesday evening at home by the score of 73-40, also leading from start to finish.
The Lady Bulldogs made six elementary students night’s by presenting them with bikes.
The Bulldogs bounced back from the tough loss to Carroll Friday night as they defeated conference rival Delphi Oracles (5-1).
Said Coach Don Helmick, “The Bulldogs got off to a fast start with Surber and Parkison combining for 15 of the 21 first quarter points. That continued in the second quarter as they combined for 17 of the 22 second quarter points. The Bulldogs never allowed the Oracles to get closer than 19, as they defeated the Oracles 73 to 40. The 73 points scored represent the most points scored by a Bulldog team since 2000-2001. Parkison would finish the game as the leading scorer with 21 and Surber would get a career high with 15”.
The Bulldogs head into Thanksgiving break with a 6-1 record.
