Clinton County, Frankfort Get Community Crossing Matching Grant Funds

Clinton County and the City of Frankfort were both awarded funding through the Community Crossings, a component of the Governor’s Next Level Roads program, it was announced Tuesday morning.

Clinton County will receive $1 million and Frankfort will get $311,916.44 of the $107.8 million in state matching funds for local road projects.

Carroll County will also receive a $1 million, Boone County will get $320,189.37 and White County gets $130,435.87. Besides Frankfort, towns and cities receiving funds include Delphi $801,750; Lafayette, $667,750; Lebanon, $315,300; Sheridan $145.836.82; Zionsville, $120,940.50; Monticello $91,406.25; Colfax, $75,780; and Clarks Hill, $37,128;

A total of 224 Indiana cities, towns and counties received fund. The next call for projects will open in July 2022.
