Clinton County Under Wind Advisory From Friday Night Until 6 P.M. Saturday

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Advisory for portions of central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 8 p.m. Friday until 6 p.m. Saturday.

Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. Gusty winds could blow unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clay, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Martin, Montgomery, Morgan, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren counties.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
