Clinton Prairie School Board Will Have Two New Members: VIDEO

There will be two new members on the Clinton Prairie School Board following the General Election results Tuesday night.

In the at-large race, incumbent president Tim Snyder finished second in a three-man race that was won by Travis Kelley with 790 votes. Snyder wound up with 499 votes and Michael (Joey) Stillwell finished with 451.

The other new face on the board will belong to Cindy Neal as she easily won the three-person race in Washington Township with 913 votes. Robert Allen was second at 482 and S. Denise Goodman was third with 328. Incumbent Mike McGraw elected not to seek re-election.

In the at-large race for the Clinton Central School Board, Bryce Eaton defeated Craig Sheets 891 to 628.

In contested races in the county, Robert Stinson, Jim Knapp and William Fultz were all victorious in a four-person race for Washington Township Board. Stinson finished with 220 votes, Knapp had 194 and Fultz 188. The Kirklin Township Board winner in a four-person race was Mike Henry with 331 votes. Roger McClain was second at 270 and John Grice had 197. Other contested race winners were Andrea Huber (Madison Township Trustee) and James Harris (Ross Township Trustee).

Winners in uncontested races included Brad Mohler (Circuit Court Judge), Anthony Sommer (Prosecuting Attorney), Rhea Copas (Circuit Court Clerk), Britt Ostler (County Auditor), Rich Kelly (County Sheriff), Dana Myers (County Assessor), Scott Shoemaker (County Commissioner 3rd District), Jon Hussey (County Council District 1), Jake Myers (County Council District 2), Ron Gascho (County Council District 3), Alan Dunn (County Council District 4), Kevin Evans (Center Township Trustee), Brenda Robertson (Forest Township Trustee), Fran Reagan (Jackson Township Trustee), Tom Marshall (Johnson Township Trustee), Darrin Lafferty (Kirklin Township Trustee), Nick Bales (Michigan Township Trustee), Cory Klinedinst (Owen Township Trustee), Scott Kimmel (Perry Township Trustee), John Bonecutter (Sugar Creek Township Trustee), Larry Laughner (Union Township Trustee) and Jeffrey Sigler (Washington Township Trustee).

In all, 52.33 percent of registered voters in Clinton County cast ballots in the general election.
