Exhibit Featuring Gus Grissom Coming to Frankfort Library

The Friends of the Frankfort Community Public Library present a special photography and archive exhibit “Homegrown Hoosier to American Hero — Celebrating the Life of Virgil ‘Gus’ Grissom” on Friday, May 5, from 5-8 p.m.

Interactive exhibits will be on display through May 26 and the photography exhibit will be on display through July 5. Joining the program will be author George Leopold, who wrote the book “Calculated Risk — the Supersonic Life and Times of Gus Grissom.” He will also do a book signing.

Individuals can view the evening sky with the Wabash Valley Astronomical Society before and after the program. They will featuring the moon in honor of Grissom.

The Friends of the Frankfort Library annual meeting is at 6:30 p.m. and Leopold’s presentation is at 6:45 p.m.
