Frankfort’s Independence Day celebration continues Saturday, July 4, with a full day of free community events, live entertainment, and family activities at TPA Park, along with additional neighborhood and recreational activities across the city.
The day begins with Pilates in the Park at 8:30 a.m. near the TPA Concession Stand.
At 10 a.m., the Harvard Terrace neighborhood parade will step off following a 9:45 a.m. lineup at the corner of Harvard Terrace and Clay Streets. Community members are invited to participate and decorate bicycles, wagons, strollers, pets, and more in patriotic style.
The Stars & Stripes Car Show follows from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at TPA Shelter 4, hosted by COACH Kids of Clinton County.
The Annual 4th of July Festival at TPA Park begins with an Opening Ceremony and National Anthem at 3 p.m. on the main stage, followed by a bell-ringing ceremony.
Live entertainment for the evening includes:
- The Jacks – 3:30 to 5 p.m.
- Jessie Brown Duo – 5:30 to 7 p.m.
- Neon 90s Country Rewind – 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy a wide range of family activities including The Wonderdog Show, laser tag, human hamster balls, inflatables, foam party, slip-n-slide, waterslide, and face painting.
The celebration concludes Saturday night with a fireworks show at TPA Park.
