Holocaust Survivor Eva Kor Coming to Frankfort Library: LIVE on WILO TV

EVA KOR

The 3rd Annual Women’s Expo is March 16, from 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. on the second floor of the Frankfort Community Public Library. This is a free event and is not just for women! All are welcome to attend. Eva Kor, Holocaust survivor and forgiveness advocate, will speak at 1 p.m. in the Elizabeth O’Rear Skanta Theatre.

Center Township of Clinton County is providing the LIVE video broadcast on WILO TV and LIVE remote on WILO Radio.

The LIVE WILO TV broadcast will begin at 1PM Saturday March 16th at www.wilotv.com. Click HERE for broadcast.

For the past 40 years, Eva Kor has shared her story with students, teachers, medical professionals, historians, and civic groups both nationally and internationally. Eva is one of the few surviving twins sharing her personal account of the medical experiments supervised by the Nazi doctor Josef Mengele at Auschwitz. Eva’s account of her survival of the Holocaust offers many relevant lessons on the dangers of hate and prejudice, and the consequences of allowing prejudice to persist, unchecked, in others. She tells her story in the book Surviving the Angel of Death: The True Story of a Mengele Twin in Auschwitz and in the PBS documentary Eva.

Free tickets for Eva Kor’s presentation will be passed out at noon on the day of The Expo.  Each person will only receive one ticket, and tickets may not be reserved in advance.  WILO TV will live stream the program online world-wide and throughout the library.  Eva will be available for pictures after her presentation, and  pre-signed books can be purchased for $12. More information can be found on our website: myfcpl.org/womens-expo/.
