Joy L. Wolf

Joy L. Wolf, 74, of Rossville, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Mulberry Health.  She was born August 30, 1945, in Claypool, to Walter Leon and Tressie Amelia (Yoder) Blocher Sr.  On June 29, 1990, Joy married David E. Wolf; he survives.

She had attended Silver Lake High School and later received her GED.  Joy was a homemaker who liked things to be orderly and clean.  She was a talented oil painter and enjoyed flowers.

In addition to her husband, Joy is survived by her children, Curtis (Lisa) Skiles, Cammy (Karen) Skiles, and Craig (Beth) Skiles; step-daughter, Ginny Hufford; sisters, Dorothy Blocher and Eileen (Bill) Cahill; brother-in-law, Phil Metzger; brothers, Danny (Michelle) Blocher and Walter (Tana) Blocher; nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents, step-daughter, Marty Wolf; sisters, Rosadella Miller and Donna Metzger; and brother, Arthur Blocher.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 1:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m.  Pastor Eric Alwine will officiate.  A private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Pyrmont Cemetery.  Memorials in Joy’s name may be made to The Living Stone Church.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
