At approximately 2:47 p.m. Sunday, officers were sent to 616 N. McCann St. in reference to a possible child molest in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed a male run from the residence. Officers chased the male and arrested him for Resisting Law Enforcement, an A-Misd. The male was identified as 27 year old Christopher O. Keefer. While at the residence, officers spoke to witnesses who reported Keefer and his girlfriend, Sherry Bozeman were molesting children.
As a result of the investigation, investigators requested warrants for Keefer and Bozeman. On Tuesday, warrants were issued out of Howard Circuit Court for the arrest of Christopher Keefer for 2 counts of Child Molesting, a level 1 Felony and for 31 year old Sherry Bozeman for 2 counts of Child Molesting, a level 1 Felony and 2 counts of Incest, a level 4 Felony.
