Lappin Leaves Chief Deputy Post From Sheriff’s Office

TODD LAPPIN

On Friday, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office said, “See you later” to their Chief Deputy, Todd Lappin. Lappin has served with Sheriff Rich Kelly over the last 19 months and has been instrumental in facilitating grants, overseeing fleet and numerous other projects to excel this administration into a progressive model of law enforcement.

Lappin retired from Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department in 2018. Lappin has accepted a position in the private business sector. We are so appreciative of his service to our county and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors!

“Todd Lappin leaves a large hole in the Sheriff’s Office that is irreplaceable. With a personality bigger than life, we will miss his wit, his expertise and his humor. The knowledge he brought to this agency is insurmountable and I can’t thank him enough for his dedication to my administration. It is important to me that any employee within my administration achieves their career goals. I hope the knowledge Todd gained here at the Sheriff’s Office gave him the tools needed to pursue this next adventure!” said Sheriff Kelly.
