Lucy Ethel Kemmerer

Lucy Ethel Kemmerer, 87, of Frankfort, Ind., died June 3, 2021 at Clinton House.  She was born September 9, 1933 to William Edgar & Emma Catherine (Sipple) Dick.  She married William Kemmerer on April 28, 1956 in Michigantown and he preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1989.

Lucy retired from Peter Paul, and later worked at Comfort Keepers and was a greeter at Wal-Mart.  She was a member of the Eagles, American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries for a number of years.  Lucy loved Karaoke, dancing, bingo, Nascar and she enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is survived by: 2 Sons:  William Lee “Wild Bill” Kemmerer of Mulberry and Michael Wayne (Companion Sandy Glover) Kemmerer of Frankfort, Daughter:  Jerrie Hastings of Frankfort, Brother:  Buddy Day of Dayton, OH, 6 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren and several Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, brothers, Earl, Charles, Roscoe, William, Hubert, Elmer and Jim Dick, sisters, Edith “Pedie” Gould, Pearl Richardson, Clara Dick and a son, Stephen Heavilon, Son-in-Law, Robert Hastings.

Funeral Service:

 No services are planned.  Cremation will take place and burial at a later date will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund, 258 ½ Fourth St., Frankfort, IN  46041 or Clinton County Humane Society, P.O.
