Norman & Miller Eyecare Has Grand Opening for New Store on Walnut

Norman and Miller Eyecare had been in a facility on South Jackson Street since the mid-80s. Now, they are in a brand new renovated building at 380 W. Walnut Street in Frankfort with an abundant amount of space to serve the public.

“This feels great,” said Doctor Cameron Norman, one of the five eye doctors on staff. “It’s a beautiful building. State of the art building. We have more space, more parking, more exam lanes, more doctors. We can provide much more care to the community. It’s just great.”

The building Norman and Miller now occupy is a former auto parts store. There’s not a sign of that anymore.

“We have eight exam lanes, a laser room, contact lens room. we’re making our classes here, an optical lab here, larger optical with frames and glasses for our patients, and contact lens room,” said Norman. “We’ve got it all here. So, we’re busy.”

Norman and Miller offers state of the art care for your eyes plus has an endless amount of glasses and frames to choose from and a huge comfortable waiting room.

Friday afternoon was  the grand opening for the business. Several dignitaries were on hand, including Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets.

“I’m so excited about this,” said Sheets. “It just shows me that they believe in our city and they trust that we’re going to support them. They’ve tripled their space. It’s a beautiful facility. I’m just so happy for the city.”
