The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a High Wind Watch from Thursday evening through Friday morning for portions of central and east central Indiana, including Clinton County.
West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are possible. Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas are Boone, Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Randolph, Rush, Shelby and Tipton.
