Much of Frankfort and surrounding areas experienced flickering and then outage of power Monday afternoon. Kaspar Media has learned that apparently Frankfort City Power was not getting energy from Duke Energy, according to Todd Corrie.
Kaspar Media is working on this story and will have more later. Power was restored to Frankfort’s east side in the Frankfort High School area about 4:25 p.m. today, while other parts of Frankfort remained without power.
Shine 99 and WILO AM 1570 remained on the air throughout the period on generator backup power. WILO 96.9 regained power at about 4:30 p.m.
